• Snorkeling Times: Boats typically operate from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Afternoon winds and waves increase, so boats stop sailing

• Manta Ray Sightings: While Manta Point offers the highest chances, sightings cannot be guaranteed as manta rays are wild animals in their natural habitat

• Tide Considerations: Angel’s Billabong is best visited during suitable tide conditions when the natural pool is calm and safe

• Book Early: For peak season travel (July-August), book tours at least 2-3 weeks ahead

• Overnight Advantage: Staying overnight means you can enjoy the sunset, sunrise, and a more relaxed pace compared to day-trippers

Departure & Hotel Pickup

• Meeting Point Option: You can choose to meet directly at Sanur Harbour at approximately 07:00 – 07:15 AM

• Departure from Nusa Penida Option: If you are already staying on Nusa Penida, you can be picked up directly from your island hotel (fast boat tickets not included)
